The Electrical and Electronic Industry as the Leading Sector of Digitisation (Abstract of the Study)

To grasp its full potential, we need an approach that goes beyond conventional categories and borders of companies or industrial sectors. The German Electrical and Electronic Industry is at the heart of digitisation: it is the leading sector of digital transformation and substantially drives digital innovations in all industrial sectors. It thus contributes significantly to reinforce Germany’s competitiveness as one of the globally leading business locations.
