December 2024
The German electro and digital industry has been able to record a moderate rise in new orders in October 2024. The sector’s bookings were up two percent compared to a year earlier. However, a real turnaround in the business cycle is yet to come.
November 2024
In September 2024, exports by the German electro and digital industry fell by 3 percent compared to the same month last year, a less pronounced decline than in previous months. Imports in Septmeber remained at the previous year's level, but for the period from January to September, a decline of 7% was recorded compared to the same period a year earlier. Exports to industrialized countries fell by just under five percent compared to a year earlier, while exports to emerging markets rose by one and a half percent.
