The cross-cutting issue of cybersecurity is top priority at ZVEI.
The first ZVEI Digital Conference in Frankfurt at the end of the year attracted a significant number of industry experts and interested parties. Topics such as digitalisation, Industry 4.0, data rooms in production and sector coupling were the focus of the conference.
The event began with an outlook from Prof Dr Dieter Wegener, spokesperson for the Industry 4.0 management group. He delved deep into the key topics of the conference, focussing in particular on the circular economy and product life cycles in industry.
One focus of the event was intensively dedicated to 'data spaces for different industries'. Aspects of the Digital Product Passport 4.0 (DPP40) were also highlighted. Various presentations explained the technical and commercial added value of the DPP and its compliance with applicable regulations. The conference concluded with various highly relevant digitalisation topics, such as the implementation of the Battery Passport, the presentation of the data room provider Cofinity-X and the presentation of the ZVEI Digital Ecosystems & Smart Services Association, which is currently being founded.
The ZVEI Digital Conference marks a significant step, as it replaces the previous ZVEI Industry 4.0 Leadership Group Conference. The participants are made up of decision-makers, product managers, production managers and IT managers from all leading markets in the electrical and digital industry. The professional dialogue and expert presentations underline the promising start of the ZVEI Digital Ecosystems & Smart Services platform.
