Measurement and Process Automation Section
Around 100 manufacturers of German electrotechnical automation technology in process industries and the energy and supply industry are represented in the Measurement and Process Automation Section (FB M+P). In addition to the actual manufacture of products and systems, planning, project management and services play an increasing role here.
The specialist area M+P offers its members an ideal platform for industry-specific exchange of views and experience.
The heart of this work are the internal statistics maintained in trust by the individual departments of the ZVEI. These statistics give participants valuable information on potential and development of the market, as well as orientation on their own market position.
Technological trends and their impact on the respective product range are discussed and evaluated in product-related technical working groups. The specialist area also supports the competitiveness of its members by monitoring and influencing intended legislation, European and international standardisation activities and the activities of legal metrology organisations.
