Starting 1.3.2021: The new energy label

On December 5, 2019, the EU Commission published the regulations on the new energy labels for washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers and refrigerators and wine storage appliances.

In this context, the ZVEI has prepared an information brochure. It explains the background to the revision, deadlines, obligations of manufacturers and retailers, the new eco-design requirements in terms of resource efficiency and the new energy labels themselves. Consumers will not see the new labels on appliances until 1.3.2021.
