Industrial health industry in Europe has lost a powerful voice

The news of the sudden death of Nicole Denjoy deeply saddens ZVEI and its member companies. Ms Denjoy had been the General Secretary of Cocir, the European trade association of the medical engineering and health IT industry, since 2006. During this time, she has worked tirelessly to achieve the goal of better healthcare services and to make them accessible to as many people as possible worldwide. Through her commitment, she will be remembered by many people and organisations in Europe and around the world. Our condolences go to her family and the entire Cocir team.

For ZVEI and its member companies, Cocir is an important part of representing their interests towards the European Union and its institutions. The Cocir Board has ensured the association's activities will be continued in this difficult situation. ZVEI supports this decision and will continue to actively contribute to Cocir's work through the Medical Engineering Division and the ZVEI European Office in Brussels.
